All India School IT Competition in October
The All India School IT Competition, IT Akshaya Pratibha 2010-11 (ITAP), is being organised for students in Hyderabad on 30th October, 2010 and 31st October, 2010.
The two-day event is being hosted for the first time in the twin cities by Sreenidhi International School, where IT competitions will be held in two categories – middle level and senior level.
The middle level competition is for students between 9 and 13 years of age, while those in the age group of 13 to 16 years will participate in the senior level.
“We are expecting over 2,000 students from all over the country to participate in the event. ITAP will provide a perfect platform for students to showcase their IT skills through various competitions and they would also get to interact with representatives of various software giants,” said Mr. Ashwin, Joint Secretary, IT Akshaya Pratibha, during a conference on Thursday.
The event will have IT-related competitions, seminars, interactive sessions and cultural events. The competitions will also include quiz.
The middle level competition will be hosted by Srinidhi International School, Hyderabad while the senior level competitions will be held at Swaminarayan Gurukul School at Bangalore.
