Anna University to upgrade MBA Course

Anna University was taking steps to upgrade the MBA course on par with international standard, Vice- Chancellor Dr R Radhakrishnan said.

Addressing the students after inaugurating an international seminar on Marketing aspects in globalised era’ at San International Business School here recently, he said that the university had already made some radical changes in educational system.

“Online examinations are being conducted, distance learning for engineering courses are introduced, and syllabus is also being modified according to industry needs.

To fulfill the needs of MNCs, changes will be made in the teaching pattern of MBA,” he said.

He further said that the university had also introduced 3-year BE/BTech programmes.

Citing the changes taking place in the banking sector, he said that the business school students could play a Major role in the further development of this sector, which was vital for the overall economic growth of the country.
