Candidates must upload NEET – PG Score Card by May 24 AFMC
The candidates who are registered for post graduation in Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions must upload their NEET – PG score card by 24th May, 2013. Candidates should login into their account and upload the details.
Armed Forces Medical College is a premier medical institute of India acknowledged as a centre of excellence for education and research. The college provides training to under – graduate and post-graduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in the defence services.
The institute was set up on 1st May, 1948 by an act of parliament of India on the recommendations of the BC Roy Committee by the amalgamation of various defence medical organizations.
The institute is presently affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the MCI for conducting undergraduate and various post graduate medical courses.
AFMC Entrance Exam Results declared
The results of the Armed Forces Medical College ( AFMC ) entrance examination 2012 has been declared 24th May, 2012, the interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled to be held from 5th June, 2012. The interview call letters are dispatched for all shortlisted students, if students who have cleared the exam and has not received the call letter by 31st May, 2012 can contact 011 – 23092349.
Interviews will take place in AFMC campus Pune from 8 a.m every daily excluding Sundays. Students who wish to change the allotted date by logging in to AFMC portal or by writing to the Dean of AFMC.

AFMC Pune is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by Medical Council of India ( MCI ). AFMC has a total of 130 students ( 105 boys & 25 girls ). Selected students will have a compulsory liability to serve as Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Armed Forces Medical College Entrance Test 2012
The Armed Forces Medical College ( AFMC ) has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on 6th May, 2012 across the country for admission to its MBBS course commencing in August.
The college comes under the Defence Ministry and is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nasik, and recognised by the Medical Council of India. As many as 130 students ( 105 boys and 25 girls ) will be admitted.
On completion of the MBBS course, the students are liable to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The applicants must be in the 17 – 22 age group as on 31st December, 2012.
The upper age limit is 24 for final – year B.Sc. students. Those who have passed Plus Two or equivalent in the first attempt as a regular student with English, physics, chemistry, and biology with not less than 60 percent marks in aggregate for the three science subjects and 50 percent separately in them and not less than 50 percent in English may apply.
