Science Exhibition draws over 2,500 Students
Over 2,500 school students visited the inter-school science exhibition organised by the Bharathidasan College of Arts and Science near here on Wednesday and Thursday.
A total of 57 working models based on various science and technology concepts were displayed in the exhibition.
A number of students had come up with creative works, which had drawn a large number of visitors.
Students of the college had also exhibited over 30 working models based on advanced concepts in science and technology.
Sri Vasavi Educational Institutions Director V. Sivakumar inaugurated the exhibition.
Organisers said that the primary objective of the exhibition was to encourage the school students to take more interest in the science and technology subjects.
The exhibition also provided an opportunity for the students to display their creative talents.
Head Master of Kavundhapadi Government Girls Higher Secondary School S. Shanumgam delivered the valedictory address. Three best working models were selected and prizes were distributed to the students.
College Chairman NKK Periyasamy presided. Principal N. Kandasamy and faculty members were present.
