CCE training for private school teachers

State Council for Education, Research and Training ( SCERT ) will conduct a training program on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation ( CCE ) for private school teachers handling Class IX.

The CCE system of school education was extended to Class IX from the current academic year.

The SCERT is the State-level apex organisation for designing and executing training programs, revising curriculum and syllabus.

Inspector of Matriculation Schools S.M. Manoharan said that training would be held on October 5 for all the five subjects – Tamil, English, mathematics, social science and science.

The training for Tamil and mathematics will be held at CMS Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Ganapathy, English and social science at GRG Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Peelamedu and science at St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Ondipudur.

The resource persons will be the subject experts, teachers and the staff of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), which comes under SCERT.
