Central University of Haryana Admission 2012

Central University of Haryana invites Applications for admission to various post graduate programs offered for the commencing session 2012 – 2013. The programs offered are Master of Arts ( M.A ) in Economics and Education, Master of Commerce ( M.Com ), Master of Law ( LL.M ) and Master of Philosophy ( M.Phil ) in Economics, English, Hindi and Political Science.

Central University of Haryana Eligibility :

Master of Arts ( M.A ) in Economics :

• Students who have completed undergraduate education from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list ) with BA ( Hons. ) / BSc ( Hons ) Economics and secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• In the case of Universities where the BA / BSc ( Hons ) Economics degree includes courses other than Economics, the course shall be treated as an Honours course only if it contains at least 55% marks of the total marks in respect of papers in economics. 55% or more marks in Graduate / Post Graduate degree in any other subject from any recognized Indian University and who have qualified in the entrance test conducted by the University.

Master of Arts ( M.A ) in Education :

• A candidate seeking admission to the MA ( Education ) course should have at least 50% marks in the Bachelor’s degree Examination ( a three year course after the 10+2 examination ) from any recognized Indian University and who have qualified in the entrance test conducted by the University.

Master of Commerce ( M.Com ) :

• Passed BCom ( Hons. ) degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list )with at least 50% marks. ( or )
• Passed BCom ( Pass ) or BCom Degree from from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list ) with at least 55% marks. ( or )
• Passed BA ( Hons. ) Economics degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list ) with at least 50% marks. ( or )
• Passed BBS, BBA, BIFA and BBE degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list ) with at least 60% marks.

Master of Law ( LL.M ) :

• All candidates having a three – year / five – year LL.B Degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university ( foreign recognition to be as per AIU list ) with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade point in the aggregate and who have qualified in the entrance test conducted by the University.

Master of Philosophy ( M.Phil ) :

• A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the programme of study leading to the Degree of Master of Philosophy ( MPhil ), hereinafter called the programme, if he / she had taken Master’s degree of the University with atleast 55% marks ( 50% for SC / ST or differently abled categories ) and or a degree recognized by the University for this purpose as its equivalent.

How to Apply for Central University of Haryana :

The filled in application form, complete in all respects along with requisite fee of ₹ 350 / – ( ₹ 250 / – in case of OBC and ₹ 150 / – in case of SC / ST / PH ) through DD favoring Central University of Haryana payable at Narnaul should reach the following address up to 5.00 PM of 25th June, 2012.

• Last date of submission of application : Monday, 25th June, 2012.
