CA coaching gets better
IndianCan Education, a joint venture between Educomp and Pearson, has launched CA coaching in tele education format in Vijayawada with an objective of enabling local students to make use of the expertise of highly qualified faculty based at Chennai.
The service, called Educomp Tele Education Network for CA (ETEN CA), is a VSAT – based coaching platform that seeks to overcome the biggest challenge of dearth of good faculty in education and also the quality barriers afflicting the institutions.
Announcing the launch of the course at a conference on Tuesday, Educomp senior vice-president Puneet Jhingan said over video conference from New Delhi that 125 ETEN centres were now available across the towns and cities in the country and the objective was to reach a 200 – strong pan – India network by 2011.
The ETEN facility would enable highly experienced and qualified faculty to reach out to the students stationed anywhere in the country with the same ease and the same level of interactivity as in a normal brick – and – mortar classroom.
There would be eight subjects in CA Intermediate and another eight in the Final program with fee for coaching for each subject ranging from 4,000 to 4,500.
‘Boon for Students’
Such a flexible facility in coaching for CA would not be available in other coaching centres, as they cover all subjects in a bundle.
ETEN CA representative Ravi Kiran said that the satellite – based coaching proved to be a boon for the students by bridging the growing gap in the educational needs of students spread over different areas of the country.
He said that the students who received the ETEN CA coaching got the best of results in the examination in the past by making use of the services of top notch faculty.
The ETEN CA representatives also claimed that their top level faculty include names like Kapileshwar Bhalla, Sangeet Kedia, CA Puli Satish Kumar, N.S. Govindan, T.S. Deenadayalan, B. Ravi, R.D. Maheswari, B.V.N. Rajeswar, L.S. Siva Kumar, P.R. Vittal and others.
