Corporate College Students excel in IIT JEE Exams

Students of corporate colleges in Visakhapatnam have once again proved their mettle at IIT JEE 2011, the results of which were announced on 25th May, 2011. Students from different colleges bagged a good number of ranks below 100 but most of them belong to the reserved categories.

Kaizen Academy :

Pratyush Nalam secured the All India Rank 1 in the physically handicapped’ category. In all, 5 students of the institute secured ranks below 1,000, according to the director of the institute K.V. Krishna Kumar.

Narayana Educational Institutions :

Zonal in charge G. Ramalingeswara Rao said that the Narayana Group has secured 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12th ranks at the all – India level in various categories.

The Visakhapatnam branch secured a total of 145 ranks including five ranks below 100 under various categories. The top five from Visakhapatnam branch are : Mohan Vamsi. G, Naveen. G, Dileep Kumar Botcha, V. Praneeth Naidu and K.T. Srinivas.

Ascent Classes :

Aayush Agarwal secured the 60th rank at the All – India level in the general category. Managing director of the institute Umadhar Patnaik said that this was the best rank in the Visakhapatnam in the open category.

M.V. Deepak secured the 53rd rank in the reserved category and the institute secured 32 ranks in all.

Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions :

The Visakhapatnam branch secured a total of 140 ranks in IIT JEE 2011. Assistant general manager K.V. Ramana announced that Yazali Midhun bagged the 2nd rank in the SC category at the All – India level while Nethipudi Nithin secured the 10th rank in the same category.

The institute secured 2, 10, 31, 37, 61 and 66th ranks at the all India level in all categories and 10 ranks below 200 in all categories.

FIITJEE, Vizag Centre :

In all, 19 of the 74 students of the Vizag centre who had appeared at the examination were selected. K. Sripriya Tulasi with 855th rank is the first from the institute in the open category.

K. Satiswar got the 15th rank, D. Priyanka got the 46th rank and S. Sidharth secured the 64th rank in the reserved category.

NRI Academy :

L.B. Akhil bagged the 30th rank at the All – India level under the ST category. Visakhapatnam branch CEO Ram Babu said that the academy had bagged six ranks below 100 in all categories.
