DIET CET to be held on May 31

A total of 37, 862 candidates will appear for the District Institute of Education and Training Common Entrance Test ( DIET CET ) 2013, which will be held in 158 examination centres in Karimnagar district on 31st May, 2013.

The Karimnagar district authorities have made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of DIET CET by appointing 158 chief superintendents and 158 department officers and also 27 flying squads.

The authorities have issued orders for the promulgation of Section 144 CrPC at all the examination centres on 31st May, 2013.

In view of the prevailing heat wave conditions, the district medical and health officials were instructed to deploy medical teams along with medicines.

The municipal authorities were also directed to make arrangements for the supply of drinking water at all the centres.

The electricity authorities were asked to make arrangements for uninterrupted power supply.

The police were also asked to provide adequate security arrangements by deploying additional forces, according to DEO K. Lingaiah here on 25th May, 2013.

Free Training for Edcet and Dietcet 2013

The S.R.S.V. B.Ed College will conduct free training classes to the candidates appearing for Edcet and Dietcet examinations scheduled in June.

College secretary and correspondent Gunda Gangadhar said there was a good response to BEd and DEd courses as the government was filling teachers posts.

The candidates, who completed graduation can apply for Edcet while candidates who completed intermediate can apply for Dietcet. for the two courses, the college would conduct free training classes from 1st April, 2013 to 10th May, 2013. The students could also use the library facilities of the college, he said.

Diet Principal Bh. Sambasiva Rao said their college students would conduct awareness classes to Adavinekkalam villagers on education and science as part of Grameena Vidya Vikasa Yatra. About 150 students will take part in the yatra.

Andhra Pradesh State DIET CET 2012 Result announced

Andhra Pradesh DIET CET result 2012 has been declared. District Institute of Education and Training Common Entrance Test DIETCET was organized in the state on 8th July, 2012 and a large number of students had appeared for the examination.

The exam paper for the DIET CET was constituted of 3 parts.

In the first part questions on General Knowledge and Teaching aptitude were asked.

The second part of the Andhra Pradesh DIET CET constitute of General English and Telugu / Urdu or Tamil.

The third part of the DIET CET paper constitute of subject like Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Studies.
