DIET CET to be held on May 31

A total of 37, 862 candidates will appear for the District Institute of Education and Training Common Entrance Test ( DIET CET ) 2013, which will be held in 158 examination centres in Karimnagar district on 31st May, 2013.

The Karimnagar district authorities have made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of DIET CET by appointing 158 chief superintendents and 158 department officers and also 27 flying squads.

The authorities have issued orders for the promulgation of Section 144 CrPC at all the examination centres on 31st May, 2013.

In view of the prevailing heat wave conditions, the district medical and health officials were instructed to deploy medical teams along with medicines.

The municipal authorities were also directed to make arrangements for the supply of drinking water at all the centres.

The electricity authorities were asked to make arrangements for uninterrupted power supply.

The police were also asked to provide adequate security arrangements by deploying additional forces, according to DEO K. Lingaiah here on 25th May, 2013.

Andhra Pradesh State DIET – CET 2012

Online applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into two year Diploma in Education ( D.Ed., ) in Government District Institutes of Educational Training ( DIETs ) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state through Common Entrance Test ( CET ) to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday 8th July, 2012 in all 23 Districts of the State.

Scheme of Entrance Test :

Part I

  • General Knowledge 5 Questions 5 Marks.
  • Teaching Aptitude Test 5 Questions 5 Marks.

Part II

  • General English 10 Questions 10 Marks.
  • Telugu / Urdu / Tamil 20 Questions 20 Marks.

Part III

  • Mathematics 20 Questions 20 Marks.
  • Physical Sciences 10 Questions 10 Marks.
  • Biological Sciences 10 Questions 10 Marks.
  • Social Studies 20 Questions 20 Marks.

Eligibility :

  • Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
  • The candidate should satisfy Local / Non – Local Status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions ( Regulation of admission ) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
  • The Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board of examination.

How to Apply :

  • The application form can be downloaded from the official website of http://dietcet.cgg.gov.in/.
  • The filled application form along with [rupee] 200 / – can pay through AP Online or e – Seva centres online only.

Important Dates :

  • Payment of Fees at AP Online or e – seva is 9th May, 2012.
  • Last date for the submission of online application form is 10th May, 2012.
  • DIET – CET 2012 will be held on 8th July, 2012 at 1.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
