GITAM to conduct Research on Gandhian Ideas
Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), National Council of Rural Institutes (NCRI) and Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) have decided to implement a project to conduct research of Gandhian Ideas in the country.
The decision was taken at the GITAM Center for Gandhian Studies’ first advisory committee meeting at the GITAM campus here.
The ICPR and NCRI are two separate autonomous organisations working under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The advisory committee consisting of GITAM V-C G. Subramanyam, Bihar Central University V-C Janak Pandey, ICPR Chairman K. Ramakrishna Rao, NCRI Chairman S.V. Prabhat, NU former V-C C.V. Raghavulu, Utkal University Philosophy Department Head A.K.Mohanty, GITAM Institute of Management Principal K. Sivarama Krishna and Center for Gandhian Studies Director B. Sambasiva Prasad attended the meeting.
