Government of Tamilnadu Anna Institute of Management conduct free coaching for UPSC Exams
Free coaching will be imparted at the all India civil services coaching centre of Anna institute of management, Chennai, to candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, backward, most backward communities, minorities and also other category of candidates for IAS and IPS tests conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
An entrance test will be conducted for selection of candidates for the preliminary examination of the above tests.
In a press release issued here on September 6, 2011. B. Maheswari, District Collector, said that the department of backward classes and minorities welfare was distributing applications for the Intelligence Character Recognition ( ICR ), an entrance test for admission to the above free coaching.
The qualifying age is 21 to 35 years for candidates belonging to scheduled caste ( arunthathiar ), scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community; 21 to 33 years for candidates belonging to most backward, backward, minorities and other backward communities; 21 to 30 years for other communities.
Applications can be got from the office of the district backward classes and minorities welfare officer and last date for submission of completed application forms is on or before September 27, 2011.
