IIIT-A organizes Science Conclave with Nobel Prize Winners

Science Conclave: A Congregation of Noble Prize Winners (December 15-21, 2008)

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) is organizing a seven days Interactive Program of Students, Young Teachers and Scientists with Noble Laureates during 15-21 December, 2008.
The objective of the Interactive Sessions is to inspire and motivate the bright students to take up studies, researches and professional research careers in Basic Sciences in order to promote the scientific developments and innovations of the country.
The Conclave would provide opportunity to the students, research scholars, young university teachers and scientists to interact with Noble Laureates, Eminent Indian Academicians, Scientists, Technologists and Industrialists.
Vice-Chancellors of Universities, Directors/Heads of Institutions of Higher Education / Learning has been requested to sponsor bright students at B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels with research scholars, young teachers and scientists from their Institutions to the Conclave on the prescribed format.
The Students, Research Scholars and Young Teachers/ Scientists desirous to participate in the Conclave may contact their Institutions and get themselves sponsored.
The IIIT-A will provide Rail fare to students up to AC-III Tier and to teachers up to AC-II Tier or actual fare whichever is less.
The nominations may be sent on priority basis to Science Conclave Secretariat on the prescribed format.
