IIM-Calcutta offers new avenues for Accounting Professionals
IIM Calcutta recently announced the launch of the second batch of General Management Program For Accounting Professionals (GMPAP), which is tailored for equipping professionals with the knowledge and tools for not only broadening their business outlook but also to help them to make strategic decisions better.
The program is oriented towards providing general management inputs to enable participants understand the environment in which they operate.
It AIMS at developing competencies and skills essential to climb up the corporate ladder among Charted Accountants, Cost Accountants and Company Secretaries.
Speaking on the program, Chitra Bhatia, director, HughesNet Global Education, said “HughesNet Global Education is committed towards offering the best programs to working professionals.
GMPAP program is designed for some of the best finance professionals to enhance their skills with high-quality education from IIM Calcutta delivered through our Interactive Onsite Learning technology. Using the technology, working professionals can participate in the program from their cities without needing to travel to campus.
The duration of the course is 18 months and is scheduled in a way so as to avoid time clashes for the working professionals. The course commences in April 2010.
CA / ICWA and Company Secretaries are eligible for the course. The total fee for the program amounts to INR 2,56,250 excluding books and material fees.
