Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) offers new program in Nuclear Science
“Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, has offered support to institutions planning new programs in nuclear science.
According to the Director of Chemistry Group of IGCAR, P. R. Vasudeva Rao, academic avenues at present for gaining expertise in nuclear science are limited.

The Centre was also prepared to depute its scientists as visiting faculty and extending its facilities for practical sessions. Dr. Rao was in Tiruchi recently to participate in a seminar on ‘Application of Radiation and Radio Isotypes’ organised by the Department of Physics, St. Joseph’s College.
