Children should emulate the lives of leaders like A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, said P.R.Murugesan, Consultant Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon, PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research.

T.Anbalagan, Director of MALTANB Construction Private Limited, distributed prizes and rewards to student achievers. Teachers and non-teaching staff were also given mementos for their dedication.

Guruprasad and Ashwini, who scored the highest marks in the last year’s Class X and XII public examinations, were given cash awards. Students who registered full attendance during the last academic year too were given cash awards.

The school conducted regular programmes such as story day, vegetables day, balloons day and the like for the kindergarten section, Ms.Amritham, principal and correspondent of the school, said.

This gave the children an opportunity to express their creativity. She said the UKG Upgradation Day gave the children and their parents a sense of pride.

The students put up an entertaining performance which included folk arts such as Poykal kutirai and villupattu.

The Literary Club and the Manavar Mandram of the school organised regular programmes to promote speaking and creative writing skills among the students.

It also had a quiz club that encouraged scientific interest in students. Personality development, music, yoga and karate were other things the school trained its students in.
