English Classes for Unemployed Youth and Fresh Graduates

The Bidar District Development Forum will organise a month – long free English coaching for unemployed youth and fresh graduates at the Karnataka College from October 12, 2011, according to forum president Channabasappa Halahalli.

He told presspersons here on October 7, 2011 that Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award – winning soft skills coach Munawar Zama will conduct the classes for three hours daily.

“We are expecting two groups of 400 people each,” Mr. Halahalli said.

The forum has requested all colleges in the district to send their teachers as trainees to the classes.

“Mr. Zama has trained students, company executives and personnel of the Delhi police.

He has also promised to work with us in finding placement for some of the trainees,” Mr. Halahalli said.

Mr. Zama will give demonstrations at the Karnataka College on October 10 and 11, 2011.

The classes will be formally inaugurated at the Zilla Ranga Mandira on October 12, 2011.

“Those interested can register their names at the Shaheen College, the Karnataka College and the Karnataka Sahitya Sangha,” Mr. Halahalli said. Secretary of the Shaheen College Abdul Quadeer, said that Mr. Zama would visit different colleges to speak to students about personality development during his stay.
