KEAM – CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS (CAP) 2008 first allotment published

CAP: 2008 – First Round Allotments Published
The first allotment to Professional Degree Courses, 2008 has been published in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
The allotments have been made to 157 institutions based on the options received between 05.07.2008 and 14.07.2008 (10 am).
Those candidates who have received the allotment on 17.07.2008 should remit the requisite fee / deposit / caution deposit in any of the 137 branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) between 19.07.2008 and 24.07.2008 (upto 3.30 pm) by way of cash / Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Commissioner for Entrance Examinations A/c with SBT”, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Those candidates who do not remit the fee / deposit / caution deposit within the stipulated time will lose their allotments and also higher order options in the stream in which they have received allotment.
Admission: The candidates allotted to MBBS / BDS courses should take admissions in the respective Medical / Dental Colleges between 26.07.2008 and 29.07.2008 with all relevant original documents mentioned in the Prospectus. Those who do not take admissions before 4 pm on 29.07.2008 in Medical / Dental colleges will lose their MBBS / BDS allotments and also their higher order options in the Medical stream.
The candidates who have received allotment to courses other than MBBS and BDS will take admissions in the respective colleges after the ‘Second allotment’ as per the schedule that will be announced by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. It may be noted that such candidates also should remit the fee between 19.07.2008 and 24.07.2008.
The second phase of allotment will start by the first week of August 2008. Candidates can register options to courses / colleges which are newly included in the second phase of allotment. Details regarding the second phase of allotment will be published in due course.
