SSLC Exam Results Announced 24th April 2013
The results of this year’s SSLC examinations would be declared on 24th April, 2013.
The examination board would meet here on 23rd April, 2013 to take a final look at the results of 4.79 lakh students.
The Education Minister P. K. Abdu Rabb is scheduled to announce the results at 12.30 p.m. on 24th April, 2013.
Pareeksha Bhavan Secretary Johns V. John told Press Peoples that this year’s results were being announced in the shortest time ever – on the 24th day after the valuation camps began. “The camps began on 1st April, 2013 and got over by 16th April, 2013. By 19th April, 2013 we had finalized the results. Last year we took 26 days to announce the results and the year before last, 28 days. For the last 8 years we have been incrementally shortening the time to declare results,” he said.
Kerala HSC / Class12 Board Exam March 2013 Time Table
The Government of Kerala has declared the Time Table / Data Sheet for the Higher Secondary Education ( HSC ) ( Class 12 ) Board examination 2013.
Please Note :The exams are scheduled to start from 4th March, 2013 till the 21st March, 2013. And for HSC Arts candidates the exam starts from 4th March, 2013 and ends on 14th March, 2013.

Kearla HSC Time of Examination 2013 :
- Subjects without Practicals 10.00 A.M to 12.45 P.M [ IST ] including Cool Off Time of 15 minutes
- Subjects with Practicals except Biology & Music 10.00 A.M to 12.15 P.M [ IST ] including Cool Off Time ( 15minutes )
- Biology 10.00 A.M to 12.25 P.M [ IST ] including Cool Off Time ( 20 minutes ie., 10 minutes each for Botany & Zoology and 5 minutes preparatory time for Zoology )
- Music 10.00 A.M to 11.45 A.M [ IST ] including Cool Off Time ( 15 minutes )
- NB : The Practical Evaluation will be conducted from 13th February, 2013 to 28th February, 2013.
HSE SAY Exams from 18th June, 2012
The Save A Year ( SAY ) / improvement examinations of the second – year Higher Secondary Examinations will be held from 18th June, 2012 to 22nd June, 2012. A press note issued here said that the practical examinations would be held from 25th June, 2012 to 27th June, 2012.
Students who registered for the examinations in March, 2012, for the first time can apply for the SAY in subjects they failed to qualify. Students can apply to improve their scores for just one subject if they have scored at least D+ in all subjects.
Students who wrote compartmental examinations under scheme one and two and wishing to clear just one subject can apply for the SAY. Such students cannot apply for more than one subject, the press note said.
The last date for submitting applications for the SAY examination is 24th May, 2012. The application forms and details can be had from the schools or from the higher secondary portal. Applications for SAY should be given at the school where the candidate wrote the examinations of March 2012.
For SAY, the candidate has to remit 300 a paper and for improvement examinations, 400 a paper. In addition to this, a certificate fee of 20 should be remitted.
Applications for revaluation, scrutiny or for the copy of the answer sheets should be submitted to the respective schools before 29th May, 2012.
Higher Secondary Examinations – Pass Percentage in Kottayam and Alappuzha
The Kottayam district has registered 87.9 percent pass in the higher secondary examinations. Alappuzha district recorded 86.4 percent pass in the higher secondary examinations.
Kottayam District Students Pass Percentage:
The Kottayam district has registered 87.9 percent pass in the higher secondary examinations.
Out of the 19,451 students who had appeared for the examinations, as many as 17,097 have become eligible for higher studies. A total of 233 students have secured A+ grades in every subjects. Twelve schools from the Kottayam district have secured the achievement of cent percent pass.
Meanwhile, the district posted 92.34 percent pass in the Part one and two of the Vocational Higher Secondary Examinations. Out of the 1854 students who had appeared for VHSE, 1522 have become eligible for higher education. Moreover, technical schools and open schools in the district have registered 69.14 and 66.39 percent pass respectively.
Alappuzha District Students Pass Percentage:
Alappuzha district recorded 86.4 percent pass in the higher secondary examinations.
Out of the 18,330 students who appeared for HSS from 107 schools in the district, 15,837 students qualified for higher studies. A total of 167 students scored A + grade for all subjects. 100 percent pass was recorded by four schools in the district.
SSLC Exam in Malappuram begins on 11th March, 2012
As many as 75,863 students in the district will take the SSLC examinations beginning on 11th March, 2012. When 75,193 of them will be in regular stream, as many as 670 students will take the examination in private stream.
According to Deputy Director of Education K.C. Gopi, 37,803 of the regular students are girls and 37,390 are boys.
Last year, 72,871 students had appeared for the examination in the district.
Government Schools :
As many as 27,043 students will take their SSLC examinations in government schools. Among them, 13,554 will be boys and 13,495 will be girls.
In aided schools, 41,086 students will appear for the examination with 20,276 boys and 20,810 girls.
The number of students appearing from unaided schools will be 7,058, with 3,560 boys and 3498 girls.
Malappuram revenue district, comprising Tirur, Malappuram, and Wandoor educational districts, is the largest district in the State in terms of the number of students appearing for the examination.
Tirur educational district, which presents 36,074 students, is the largest educational district in the State in terms of number of students.
When 24,536 will appear from Malappuram educational district, 14,583 will take the examination in Wandoor educational district.
Exam Centres :
There will be 214 examination centres across the district, with 105 in Tirur, 62 in Malappuram, and 47 in Wandoor. Last year, there were 226 centres in the district.
Apart from 4,304 invigilators, there will be 275 deputy superintendents to supervise the examination process. As many as 133 of them will be in Tirur, 88 in Malappuram, and 54 in Wandoor.
Pass Percentage :
The district registered an all – time high pass rate of 88.5 percent in 2011. When 86.91 percent students passed the SSLC examinations in the district in 2010, the results in 2009 was 86.67 percent. In 2008, the district witnessed 87.09 percent pass.
Vijayabheri’s success :
About 10 years ago, the district used to mark the lowest percentage in SSLC victory in the State. However, the SSLC results of Malappuram saw a spurt between 2002 and 2008, thanks to the District Panchayat initiative called Vijayabheri.
