KMC School signs MoU with Malaysian Open University
K.M.C. Public school at Perumanallur near Tirupur, affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Open University Malaysia (OUM) on Tuesday to improve the educational standards to international level and to start a branch of the school in Malaysia.
A release said that as per the MoU, the school team comprising students, faculty, management representatives and parents would be visiting Malaysia in January next year to understanding the teaching methodology practiced in various educational institutions there.
The members would also be observing the Information Technology tools used by Malaysian institutions in the learning process.
The release added that the school would be opening the proposed new branch in Malaysia within two years. The overseas branch too would be under the CBSE ambit.
The MoU was signed here by Selvaraj Oyyan, director of Institute of Professional Development, OUM, and Ravindran Raghavan, principal consultant of OUM, on the behalf of OUM, and K.C.M. school secretary and correspondent C. S. Manoharan and chairman K.C. Shanmugam for the school.
