Krishna University to fill Vacant Seats through Spot Admission
The Krishna University proposes to fill up a few vacant seats available in different courses through spot admission procedure.
The Registrar said in a statement on Wednesday that academic admission wing of the University will conduct spot admissions for M.A. Telugu and M.Sc.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry on 13th August, 2010, for M.A. English and M.A. Journalism on 14th August, 2010 and for M.Sc. Biotechnology (five-year integrated course) and M.Sc. Electronics and Instrumentation on 16th August, 2010.
Students qualified in the Andhra University Region Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AURPGCET) could download the application from the website www.krishnauniversity.net and pay D.D. for 50.
The students who are not qualified in the AURPGCET could download the application and pay D.D. for 350.
First priority will be given to those students who qualified in the AURPGCET, and only then other students will be considered for admission depending on availability of seats.
In both cases, students will be admitted as per a merit order. Every student joining the University through spot admission should give a written declaration stating that he or she would pay the total fee in accordance with the University rules, if required, the Registrar said.
