Last Date for Inter Exam Attendance Exemption Fee August 25

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has said that private candidates (without college study) planning to appear for Intermediate Public Examinations in March 2011 have to pay ₹ 500 exemption fee to be considered eligible.

Board of Intermediate Education Secretary G. Balaramaiah in a statement said that attendance exemption will be given to candidates appearing for Arts combination subjects only.

Candidates who have passed Bi.P.C. stream and desire to appear for Mathematics as additional subject are also eligible.

Eligibility

He said candidates who have a gap of one year after passing SSC or its equivalent were eligible to appear for only first year exam and those who have a gap of two years were eligible to appear for both first and second year as private attendance exemption candidates.

Candidates can pay the exemption fee of ₹ 500 till 25th August, 2010 and with an additional late fee of ₹ 200 till 6th September, 2010.

Forms along with original certificates have to be submitted in the office of Secretary, BIE.

Application forms can be had from the office of RIOs and they can also be downloaded from website www.bieap.gov.in.
