MBA Admissions will be based on CMAT 2013

Gulbarga University has clarified that admissions to MBA programmes in all AICTE – approved institutions and universities in the State for the academic year 2013 – 14 will be on the basis of marks scored in the Common Management Test ( CMAT ).

In a statement here on Thursday, Registrar Dayanand Agsar said the State government had given a clear direction in this regard. All final year bachelor’s degree students and those who have already secured a bachelor’s degree were eligible to write the CMAT.

Students can take the test twice, and the best of two scores would be taken for admission to MBA courses.

Prof. Agsar said the Karnataka Examination Authority would not conduct separate entrance test for admission to MBA course in the State and that the KEA will make admission to the government quota seats as per the merit list of CMAT.
