Career Guidance Programme at MES College

The HR Club of the Department of Management Studies and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) student wing at the MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, will organise a career – guidance program on 29th April, 2011.

Those who have passed class X or Plus Two can attend the programme at the college auditorium from 9.30 a.m. 50 will be charged from each participant and parents can accompany their wards.

“The programme will deal with various conventional and alternative career choices available for students,” V.H. Abdul Salam, college Principal said.

Career expert P.R. Venkitaraman will handle the morning session and motivational speaker and career expert Thomas George, the afternoon session.

Dr. Salam said the programme would serve as an ideal platform for students and parents to gain new insights into higher education and would clear their doubts about the options available.

“Gone are the times when people believed that engineering and medicine were the only options. Today, there is something for everyone. It does not matter which field you are interested in. The important thing is to recognise the special field oneself,” he said.
