National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) will reach out to Schools in Coimbatore during its Entrepreneurship Week Programmes from February 5 to develop entrepreneurship skills in students.
Laura A. The theme for this year was : “Ideas for India”. Last year, about six lakh participants attended nearly 4,000 events.
This year, it was expected to be more than six lakh participants. The NEN had E – cells in colleges and decided to introduce Structured Programmes in Schools too.
Students would be encouraged to develop ideas, develop the product and try to market it. The E – cell members in colleges would reach out to schools during the week. Based on the response, the school initiative would be strengthened, she said.
