NEET – PG Test Day and Testing Centers increased

As per the notification of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, NBE ( National Board of Examinations ) will conduct NEET ( National Eligibility Entrance Test ) for admission to Postgraduate ( PG ) medical courses from 2013.

NEET – PG, computer-based test is scheduled to be held from 23rd November, 2012 to 6th December, 2012. Now students seeking admission to MD / MS / PG Diploma Courses in all medical colleges will be required to take NEET – PG exam.

The NBE has decided to increase the number of testing centers to 50 across 33 cities and also add a testing day to the examination schedule.

Thus now the NEET – PG exam will also be conducted on 24th November, 2012 which was previously not a testing day.

As per NBE, medicos can take a practice test, which has been put on the official website of NEET. It is a sample online test and actual exam will be based on similar lines. Candidates can get familiar with the functionality and navigation of the exam.

It also includes a tutorial which illustrates different aspects of the exam such as navigating between screens, marking responses, selecting, re-selecting and reviewing responses.
