Officials to approach AICTE on August 6

A team of officials from the State will meet the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) officials in New Delhi on 6th August, 2010 to get the final approval of the colleges and also put forward their demand not to permit new engineering colleges this year.

Officials said there was no response from the AICTE with regard to the letter from the State government on the new colleges’ issue.

The AICTE has given permission to several colleges and placed the info on its website but officially the State is yet to get any communication from them.

  1. I dont know why but AICTE is doing wrong things. Giving approval to more intakes and second shift will create big problem. It is already recession in MBA, Pharmacy etc. Can i ask one thing on what basis AICTE has given approval to the institute. I know many institute in haryana which are not even following 20% of AICTE norms. Than why AICTE is in so hurry to give approval Hon’ble Kapil sibbel ji where r u .
