Students excel in Maths Olympiad

Students of Paramita High School in Karimnagar town have secured nine ranks at the State – level Mathematics Olympiad conducted by the Association for Improvement of Mathematics Foundation.

J. Sriharsha of tenth standard secured first rank in the district and sixth position at the State level and B. Vikas secured district second and State eighth rank.

Ninth standard student Ch. Akhilesh secured first position in the district and fifth rank in the State.

K. Prithvi Raj secured second rank in the district and sixth position in the State while K. Rahul Chandra and K. Ashish Reddy secured third positions in the district and seventh in the State.

Students of eight standard P. Sai Anurag and V. Sai Harsha secured second position in the district and 10th rank in the State respectively. V. Shireesh of seventh standard secured third rank in the district.

School chairman E. Prasada Rao said that the importance given to the concept and clarity in education by Paramita IIT foundation faculty D. Ramesh, V. Vishnuvardhan Reddy and R, Saravanan had helped the students secure top ranks in the Maths Olympiad.
