“Out of 303 outgoing students this year, 253 have already got job offers,” college Principal A. Ebenezer Jeyakumar says. A majority of them were recruited by the two IT majors, Tata Consultancy Services (84) and Cognizant (55).

“In Sona College of Technology (SCT), 298 students received the offers this academic year, as against the 2005-06 record of 200.
