It gives you access to insights about yourself and your qualities,” says SOIL.

Selection Process

The final selection process, as described by SOIL is as follows :

1. All applicants are required to submit their application online. This includes their basic personal details, academic scores and details of work experience ( if applicable ). They also need to submit a Video of not more than two minutes of themselves highlighting their skills, achievements and aspirations. The video can be made using any recording device like webcam, handycam or even a good cellphone.

If the profile is found suitable, applicants will be required to take the Caliper Profile Assessment which will be sent in an email to the applicant.

2. The Caliper Profile is a comprehensive assessment which provides measures of your potential to demonstrate those competencies which are essential aspects of successful leadership and management – influencing, managing relationships, interpersonal skill, problem solving, decision making and personal organization and time management.

There will be around 150 multiple choice questions in the Caliper. The questions would be based on how candidates respond to different situations.

3. Candidates will then be shortlisted on the basis of their Application profile, video resume and caliper assessment. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Talent Appreciation Process ( TAP ) which is an interview by senior leaders from the SOIL Industry Consortium Companies along with the SOIL faculty.
