National Seminar on Mathematics in November
UGC-sponsored national seminar on ‘Present trends in Mathematics and its applications’ will be held on 11th and 12th November, 2010 at SGS College, Jaggaiahpet in Krishna District.
According to Dr Bhavanari Satyanarayana, Professor of Mathematics, ANU, and academic secretary of the seminar, the seminar would cover a wide range of issues including, fluid dynamics, rings and modules, near-rings and gamma near rings, fuzzy Algebra, graph theory and some other topics of mathematics with their applications.
The last date for submission of papers is 25th October, 2010.
Several noted mathematicians are expected to take part in the seminar, including S. B. Rao (Director, C. R. Rao Institute, Hyderabad, former Director of ISI, Calcutta), P.V. Arunachalam (founder Vice-Chancellor, Dravidian University), Lanka Radha Krishna (Bangalore University), I.H. Naga Raja Rao (Andhra University), M.S. Dutta (Central University of Hyderabad), Kunchum Syam Prasad and Babu Sri Srinivas (Manipal University).
