Making classroom study interesting

To make classroom study more informative and exciting, Canada-based Smart Technologies has introduced a new range of interactive technology solutions, including interactive whiteboards, notebook collaborative learning software and interactive learning solutions.

“Our end-to-end education solutions will help Indian educators create a workforce that is educated, skilled and trained to thrive in a global world. Already many schools and technical institutes are using our solutions and we see more educators taking to our solutions and products,” said Smart Technologies Managing Director (India and South Asia) Sanjiv Pande.

Stating that the company’s focus was on institutions besides corporations and businesses that regularly impart training to their workforce, Mr. Pande said prices of their products and solutions depend on customers’ needs but typically an entry-level board with software would cost somewhere around Rs.1 lakh. Since opening its full-fledged operations in India in May this year, the company has sold over 8,000 products.
