SSLC Paper Valuation Starts News 2013

SSLC Paper Valuation to begin on 15th April, 2013

The paper valuation for the Standard X public examination, which concluded on 12th April, 2013, will be held in Coimbatore district between 15th April, 2013 and 28th April, 2013.

According to Education Department officials, around 1,840 teaching and non-teaching staff would be taking part in the valuation exercise, which would be conducted in two locations.

A total of 98 chief examiners have been posted at the valuation centre at Coimbatore Educational District along with an equal number of scrutiny officers, 950 assistant examiners and 50 non – teaching and support staff.

The valuation centre at Pollachi Educational District would have 49 teams, each headed by a Chief Examiner. A total of 49 scrutiny officers and 500 assistant examiners have also been posted at the centre.

The valuation would be performed as per the norms in force last year, an official added.

A department official said that there may be some staff shortage for the English and Language papers.

The officials have planned to seek teachers from the matriculation schools to tide over the crisis. The chief examiner and scrutiny officer would take part in the valuation only on day one after which only the assistant examiners would conduct the exercise.
