SIET conducts Online Aptitude Test for Tribal Students
The online aptitude test for career guidance conducted by the State Institute of Educational Technology ( SIET ) for students of tribal communities began in 18 model residential schools across the State on 15th March, 2012.
As many as 2,478 students would be appearing for the test which will be conducted through the web portal of SIET from 15th March, 2012 to 31st March, 2012. The scheme jointly organised by the SIET and the Department of Backward Classes Welfare will test the areas of interest and aptitude of the students and would prepare them for higher studies.
The students can register for the test by visiting the website sietkerala.gov.in. Examinations will be conducted under the supervision of specially – trained teachers.
The students will be tested on three different category – interest, aptitude, and personality. Accordingly, questions based on verbal reasoning, mechanical reasoning, space relations, verbal reasoning, numerical ability, language usage, vocabulary test, and speed and accuracy will be part of the tests.
Based on the test results, each student will be provided with an online status report and aptitude test results, which will help them to make decision on their area of higher studies.
