Applications for Plus Two Supplementary Examinations in Tamilnadu

The applications for the Plus Two special supplementary examinations to be held on June / July will be issued online ( ) from 23rd May, 201327th May, 2013. According to the Department of Government Examinations, the forms will be available till 12 noon everyday.

According to a press release, those who had appeared for the Plus – Two public examinations in April 2013 as regular or private candidates but failed or were absent for any of the subjects are eligible to apply.

These candidates must pay ₹ 50 for each subject along with a miscellaneous charge of ₹ 35. The payment must be made through a State Bank of India challan downloaded from its website.

The challan must be in the name of the Director of Government examinations, Chennai.

The last date for submitting the applications and challan is 27th May, 2013. Applications sent through postal services will not be accepted.

The special supplementary examinations will be held from 19th June, 2013.

Transfer Counselling

Chief Education Officer A. Gnanagowri said that of the 30 who took part in the transfer counselling on 22nd May, 2013 for postgraduate teachers, 17 obtained transfer orders within the Coimbatore district.

SSLC Supplementary Exams from 15th October, 2012

The SSLC supplementary examination will be held from 15th October, 2012, says an Official release from the Directorate of Government Examinations.

As per the schedule, the examination will cover both new and old syllabi. It is old syllabus for Anglo – Indian, OSLC and Matriculation Exams, the release said.

SSLC Supplementary Exam Results on 13th July, 2012

The results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate ( SSLC ) supplementary examination held in June 2012 will be announced on 13th July, 2012 noon in all high schools and junior colleges across the State.

A release from the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board in Bangalore said 45.35 per cent of students who appeared for the examination have passed.

PU Supplementary Exams from 3rd July, 2012

The district administration is making arrangements to ensure there are no malpractices during the PU supplementary examination to be held from 3rd July, 2012 to 12th July, 2012.

There are eight examination centres in the district – three in Bidar, two in Humnabad and one each in Basavakalyan, Bhalki and Aurad. As many as 6,310 students will appear for the examination. Each centre will have a Chief Superintendent and an Additional Chief Superintendent. Officials have been instructed to provide enough benches and chairs at each centre.

Classroom Superintendents have been chosen at random. Three or four members of a local vigilance squad will be deployed. Another mobile squad has been formed at the State – level. Prohibitory orders will be in force in a 200 – m radius of all exam centres.
