SICSR VII Annual International Conference of Knowledge Forum

Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies & Research ( SICSR ) will conduct VII Annual International Conference of Knowledge Forum from 30th November, 2012 to 2nd December, 2012 at the university.

The objective of the conference is to understand the role of technology in making the newly emerging country firms globally competitive. The impact of technology and globalization on the labor market. The Conference model is Introductory Session, Scientific Sessions, and Panel Discussions involving scholars, industrialists and policy makers.

Improved competitiveness of and in emerging economies could be explained by a number of factors including buoyant economy/market, improved services / products, higher replacement demand, etc. However, recent literature has documented that “technology” is the prime mover for building competitive capabilities.

Innovation activities to improve technological capabilities are a continuous process and need not be confined only to R & D and patents alone. Innovation consists of new products, processes, financing arrangements, new ways of thinking about customers, new ways to deliver goods and services to market – in order to prosper.
