Employability Training to SC / ST Graduates

The Business Process Division of Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ) will organise a four – week free employment training for graduates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, to enable them get equipped for better jobs.

The company has joined hands with the university under “Initiative for Employing SC / ST and Minority Graduates’ to train them in business English communication, basic mathematics, e – mail procedures, basics of logical reasoning and mental applications, and corporate etiquette. The training will begin in the end of May at the university.

At the end of the training, TCS will organise a placement drive for the trainees. Those interested can attend and get placed.

Graduates and those finishing graduation this academic year from science, mathematics and arts streams, are eligible to attend. Postgraduates and engineering graduates are not eligible.

Those interested in attending the training, can send in their resume to Director, Department of Extension and Career Guidance, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641046. Last date for receiving application is 22nd May, 2013.

TCS picks 144 students from AMU campus

Aligarh, ( IANS ): Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS ), among the top 10 IT firms in the world, has recruited a record 144 students from the Aligarh Muslim University campus, a statement said Saturday.

The TCS recruitment team was in the AMU campus Oct 10 – Oct 12. A total of 222 students were shortlisted for interviews, of which 144 with B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA degrees were finally selected after a rigorous process, the statement added.

AMU pro – vice chancellor Syed Ahmad Ali thanked the TCS for their visit and emphasized on strengthening the relationship with them.

TCS Recruitment Drive on May 3

TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) is organising a campus recruitment drive at JKC College, Guntur on 3rd May, 2011 at 9 a.m. for hiring B.Sc / BCA and diploma graduates of 2011 batch.

Students who passed BSc ( mathematics / statistics / physics / chemistry / computer science / computer applications / electronics / IT / bioinformatics) BCA and Diploma (IT / computer science / ECE / EEE) are eligible to participate in the selections.

They should have at least 50 per cent aggregate marks throughout their academics and mathematics as a subject in 10+2 (Intermediate). Students having backlogs are not eligible.

Candidates have to produce copies of hall – tickets (system – generated hall – tickets will be sent to candidates through e-mail once they register themselves in the TCS portal), original photo identity cards, college ID cards, PAN cards, driving licence, or any other original ID proof containing photograph, copies of marks sheets of 10th, 12th, and graduation, and three passport size colour photographs.

The selection test will be online. Those clearing it will be facing technical and HR rounds of interview. Eligible students should upload their profile in http://www.careers.tcs.com.
