Techno-Management Festival at PSG College of Technology
The students’ union of the PSG College of Technology will host an inter-collegiate techno-management festival, KRIYA ’08, here from February 1 to 3.
According to R. Vishnu Prabhakar, Team Head of the festival, it is tipped to be the biggest confluence of students, industry and academia. Student participants from engineering, business, and arts and science colleges across south-east Asia are expected to attend.
“KRIYA will present a unique opportunity to interact with a celebrated champion of Internet-enabled egalitarianism, a person who has perhaps created the most powerful industrial model of the 21st century, Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia,” he says.
Myilswamy Annadurai, Project Director, Chandrayaan-1 is also visiting the college to enlighten the students on India’s next big aim – Mission to moon Chandrayaan-1.
Video Conference
KRIYA will include a video conferencing session with John C. Mather, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and winner of Nobel Prize for Physics in 2006. He is one among the 100 most influential people in the world as listed by the TIME magazine.
The festival will offer a plethora of techno-management events like robotics, contraption, junkyard wars, biz plan, open quiz, workshops, etc.
