UG Medical Course Fee increased

The State government has increased the fee for MBBS course for the years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.

The State Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister K. Rosaiah ratified the orders issued for increasing the fee after “careful consideration” of the recommendations of the Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee.

Accordingly, the annual fee for undergraduate courses in non-minority medical colleges would be [rupee] 60,000 for A category seats, [rupee] 2.4 lakh (B category) and [rupee] 5.5 lakh (C category).

In respect of minority medical colleges, it would be [rupee] 60,000 for A category and [rupee] 6 lakh for B category seats.

The annual fee for undergraduate dental courses (BDS) in non-minority dental colleges would be [rupee] 45,000 for A category seats, [rupee] 1.3 lakh (B category) and
[rupee] 2.5 lakh (C category).

In the minority dental colleges, the fee would be [rupee] 45,000 for A category seats and [rupee] 2.7 lakh for B category seats while the annual fee for students of Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad, was fixed at [rupee] 1.35 lakh.
