Upgrade the Quality of Education

Director of NAACH A Ranganath has underscored the need for upgrading the quality of education being imparted in the country.

Speaking at the Best Faculty Awards ceremony at the Nehru College of Educational and Chairtable Trust at Kunaiamuthur in Coimbatore on Tuesday he said; though the number of educational institutions were on the rise, there is no remarkable development in the quality of education being delivered. In the 22,000 colleges across the country about 75 to 85 per cent of them were private institutions.
