Sainik School Kazhakootam Entrance Exam 2013 :

Sainik School Kazhakootam invites application  from eligible boy candidates for admission to Class VI and IX standards, through All India Sainik School Entrance Exam, for the academic year 2013 – 2014 sessions.

Sainik School Kazhakootam Entrance Exam 2013 :

Aim : To prepare the boys academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy and other walks of life.

Kazhakootam Sainik School Age Limit 2013 :

• For Admission to class VI : Born not before 02 Jul 2002 and not after 01 Jul 2003.
• For admission to class IX : Born not before 02 Jul 1999 and not after 01 Jul 2000 and should be studying in class VIII in a recognised school.

Curriculum : 10 + 2 System of the CBSE ( New Delhi )

Sainik School Kazhakootam Admission 2013 : The admissions will be made strictly in accordance with the merit in the Entrance Examination, Interview and Medical fitness of candidates.

Category wise Reservation of Seats :

25% for sons of Defence and Ex – service Personnel, 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST.

Sainik School Scholarships : Different types of Scholarships are given by Central/State Governments depending upon the Parents’ monthly income. Details are in the Prospectus.

2. On receipt of request letter and draft the Prospectus along with application form & model Question paper will be sent by Registered post. The application form can also be purchase directly from the school office or downloaded from the Sainik School website www.sainikschooltvm.org from 15 October, 2012.

3. Sainik School Application Forms downloaded from the website are to be submitted duly filled to this office along with registration fee. On receipt of filled application forms, Prospectus and Model question papers will be dispatched to the applicant.

4. Details of registration fee including cost of Prospectus cum Application form and previous year question papers are as below :

Sainik School Kazhakootam Entrance Exam Pattern 2013 :

Sainik School Entrance Exam Details are as follows :

Class VI :

1. Mathematical Knowledge Test & Language Ability Test.( 2 hrs )
2. Intelligence Test. ( 1 hr )

The test can be taken in English, Hindi or Malayalam.

Class IX :

1. Mathematics & Science ( 2 hrs )
2. English & Social Studies ( 2 hrs )

The test can be taken in English, Hindi or Malayalam except serial No. EnglishHowever the question papers will be in English only.
