Anna University Chennai - University Grants Commission (UGC) Research Fellowships 2008

Sardar Patel Road, Chennai - 600 025. UGC Research Fellowship - 2007-08 Applications are invited for the University Grants Commission (UGC) Research Fellowships in Science for Meritorious Students. Limited number of fellowships are available in Chemical Engineering Environmental Science Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Fellowships are applicable for doing research in these disciplines in the respective University Departments/ Centres only. The Fellowship is Rs.8, 000/- per month with a contingency grants of Rs.6, 000/- per annum (will be revised shortly).

The candidates

1. who have been registered for Ph.D. in Anna University Chennai.
2. who have applied for admission for Ph.D. in Anna University Chennai for January 2008 session, as per the Advertisement dated 24.10.2007 in the above four disciplines are eligible to apply.

In addition, candidates who possess necessary qualification for pursuing Ph.D. in Anna University Chennai in the above disciplines can also apply.
