New Scholarships from Oxford University

Oxford University is offering four new scholarships exclusively for Indian citizens wishing to pursue postgraduate research at Exeter College, one of the oldest of the university's colleges. The scholarships are tenable for a year from October 2008 and renewable each year. Two Kokil Pathak Scholarships cover the cost of academic fees and provide a maintenance stipend for living expenses. Applications for master's courses or doctoral research will be accepted for all courses except Clinical Medicine, MBA and EMBA Programs. Applicants must be under 30 years of age and hold a first-class bachelor's degree.

Candidates should complete a Felix Scholarship application form, mark it as Kokil Pathak Scholarship, and submit by March 1, 2008. Two K. Pathak Clarendon Scholarships award a maintenance stipend for living expenses only as a supplement for students applying to the university for the Clarendon Awards, which covers academic fees.
