Applications are invited for the Commonwealth Hill Scholarship to support four students enrolling full-time at the University of Adelaide in an honours program commencement.
The scholarships are open to students undertaking research in any of the following areas :
Beef and wool, grazing of native pastures, organic management and improvement, dry land salinity, sustainability of flora, animal breeding (in particular marino sheep), water conservation and sustainability, river management, plantation of olives, soil erosion or any other area of research that would be of benefit to the future development and maintenance of agricultural areas within Australia.
The successful applicants will be selected by the Trustees on the grounds of his / her academic achievements, research potential and suitability to undertake the project.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia. The value of the scholarship is $5,000 ( tax free ) for one year.
