PhD Scholarship Description :
A prestigious scholarship, supported by the Victoria University Foundation and run through the Centre for Biodiversity & Restoration Ecology (CBRE), is available for a PhD student to undertake research on a topic within the area of biodiversity and restoration ecology.
The Centre for Biodiversity & Restoration Ecology aims for both excellence in scientific research, and efficient delivery of the end product of that research, preferably in a form that directly benefits biodiversity conservation or humankind.
The successful applicant must meet the requirements for PhD study at Victoria University of Wellington as outlined on the Faculty of Graduate Research Website : http://www.victoria.ac.nz/fgr/ and will have an outstanding academic track record in a relevant biological discipline.
The applicant will be expected to have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with academic distinction equivalent to a First Class Honours degree at a New Zealand University. The position is open to both New Zealand and international students.
