NTPC Scholarship Scheme for Engineering Students 2013

NTPC Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Physically Challanged Students pursuing full time Diploma Course in Engineering in College / Institution located in the state of Bihar. Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orrissa, North Eastern States and Union Terriotery of Andaman & Nicobar.

Eligibility for NTPC 2012 Scholarship :

  • NTPC Limited, a premier Public Sector Enterprise in Power Sector invites applications for 05 (Five) scholarship under NTPC Scholarship Scheme for Schedule Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Physically Challanged students pursuing full time Diploma Course in Engineering in the discipline of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Civil and Telecommunications in any of the institutes recognized by the Government. The Scholarship is for the Academic Year 2012-13. Candidates in 2nd yr. of Diploma in Session 2012-2013 are only eligible to apply.

NTPC Scholarship Amount :

  • The scholarship is payable from the Second Year of study.
  • The rate of scholarship is Rupee 1, 000/- per month for all the 12 months of the year for the entire period of the course except for the First Year.The applicant should not be in receipt of any other scholarship / financial aid / stipend from any other source whatsoever.
  • The other terms and conditions shall be regulated as per the NTPC Scholarship Scheme.

How to Apply for NTPC 2012 Scholarship :

  • Interested candidates may send their application through the Head of the Institute / College in the format.
  • The application should be accompanied by attested copy of Caste Certificate; Proof of Date of Birth, Academic Qualification and Mark Sheets of Examinations passed.
  • The application duly completed should be sent to the following address :

    NTPC Limited. Eastern Region – I Headquarters,
    2nd Floor, LNJP Bhawan,
    Dak Bunglow Chowk,
    Patna – 800 001.

NTPC Scholarship Deadline : 31st December, 2012.

  • The detailed scheme can be accessed at NTPC website : www.ntpc.co.in.
  • NTPC Scholarship application not received as per the prescribed form is liable to be rejected.
