Alumnae Association of Barnard College Fellowship
The Alumnae Association of Barnard College has supported scholastic excellence for over 30 years by awarding annual fellowships for graduate study. Nearly 150 alumnae have been named fellows in a wide range of fields, creating a society that represents Barnard’s best and brightest.
The one-year awards are granted to applicants who show a clear interest in a field of study, demonstrate strong motivation and potential for accomplishment, and present a creative approach to their work and a willingness to explore uncharted territory.
Funds available for the awards vary by year. Last year, over 60 alumnae applied and five fellows were awarded an average of $5,000 each to support their graduate studies.
