Eligibility for Community College UG Scholarship 2012 :

• Be of Hispanic heritage be a US Citizen, legal permanent resident or Eligible Non – US citizen.
• Have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average ( GPA ) of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale.
• Must Graduate from High School in ( 2011 – 2012 ).
• Must have a permanent address in Denver ( CO ) or Central Texas ( priority given to Graduates from Del Valle ISD ).
• Must plan to transfer to a four year Institution after two years at the Community College ( Preference for University of Colorado, Denver and Texas State University, San Marcos ).
• Community College Undergraduate Scholarship awards will be invited to attend a summer orientation program in ( 2012 ).
• Preference given to Pell – Eligible and 1st Generation Students.

• No, Community College Undergraduate Scholarship is not available for International Students.

Community College UG Scholarship Description :

• HSF / Achievement Undergraduate Scholarship Program is a Community College Scholarship available to current High School Seniors residing in Colorado or Texas who will begin their studies with the intent to transfer to a four year Institution.
• Community College Undergraduate Scholarship awards are $1,250 for the ( 2012 – 2013 ) academic year.
• Selected students may receive $1250 for their second year in Community College $2500 / year for three years at a four year Institution.
• Total five years of Community College Undergraduate Scholarship awards per student of a possible $10,000.
