Shri Ram College of Commerce ( SRCC ), Delhi was established in 1926 by Sir Shri Ram. SRCC is one of the first Commerce and Economics institutes of India. SRCC is located in North Delhi, University of Delhi.

SRCC was initially a Commercial School. Later on in the year 1932, SRCC was converted into a degree college. SRCC is a specialised constituent college of the University of Delhi located in New Delhi, India. SRCC is the leading institute for higher studies in Commerce and Economics in India.

SRCC started awarding undergraduate degrees in 1932 and graduate degrees in 1948. SRCC received its present name and form in 1951. Although SRCC has accepted female students since 1933, SRCC became truly co-educational only in 1957.

SRCC shifted to its new building in the sprawling Delhi University Campus in 1954. The new building was inaugurated by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Vice President of India, on January 31, 1954. The guidance of Sir Shri Ram and the perseverance of the then Principal Jai Narain Vaish provided a well – endowed building spread over a campus of 16 acres.

Shri Ram College of Commerce Placement Cell

The Placement Cell of the college facilitates on campus recruitment by giving a common platform to students seeking jobs. The Cell invites companies related to finance, human resources, marketing and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process at SRCC. Profiles that companies offer relate to articleship, management trainee, executives, research analyst etc. The Pre – Placement Talk ( PPT ) provides an opportunity to the recruiting companies and the students to interact.
