Army Institute of Law Mohali :
Army Institute of Law, Mohali established in 1999 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society ( AWES ). Its interim campus at Patiala was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. H B Kala, PVSM, AVSM, SC, the then GOC – in – C HQ Western Command in 1999. The Institute runs B.A., LL.B. 5 – year degree course in law, primarily for the wards of servicemen and ex – servicemen of Army. 20 percent of the total number of seats is available to wards of civilians. Out of this, 15 percent are reserved for residents of Punjab and 5 percent for those residents in the rest of India. The Institute is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India.

Army Institute of Law Mohali Placement Cell :
The Placement Cell of the Army Institute of Law is committed to assist students proactively in their placements. To that end, the placement cell offers counselling, practical advice from in – house experts as well as from professional experts. The AIL Placement Cell arranges in – course placement with law firms, lawyers, Judges, NGOs and corporate houses, according to students’ choice and their field of interest. There Placement Cell consists of a Placement Coordinator assisted by a team of highly dedicated student coordinators who are chosen from the senior batches. The objective is to work hard towards delivering a suitable career option to their students.
